What is the capacity of the venue?

The venue seats 175 for a formal plated dinner. This includes seating on one of our overlooking balconies. With social formats, we can fit up to 300 with utilization of both the Ballroom and the Speakeasy Parlor.


Do you offer reduced rates for off days and seasons?

Yes, we offer separate rental rates for Monday through Thursday and Fridays/Sundays, as well as Saturdays in January, February and March.


Do you offer reduced rates to nonprofit organizations?

Yes, nonprofits will receive 10% off our rental rates.


Do you offer reduced rates to those who serve or who have served in the military?

Yes, past and present members of the military receive 3% off our rental rates.


Are tables, chairs and service ware available?

Yes. There is no extra charge since the tables and chiavari chairs, as well as service ware, are included with the rental rates.


Does the rental fee include set up and breakdown?

Of course! The only exception to this is we ask outside vendors not included in package pricing to set up and break down within the time set by the Director of Events.


Is there a food and beverage minimum?

We do not have a minimum, however, the amount can fluctuate depending on your final menu selections, and beverage consumption needs and wants. That being said, there are no hidden costs, and our Director of Events will ensure you don’t exceed your desired budget.


What does the rental fee include?

There are various options in rental rates. Our Director of Events can guide you through your options.


Can I hold my ceremony at the venue as well?

Yes, of course! In fact, many of our packages include the ceremony, allowing you to exchange vows in our lovely private courtyard at no additional cost.


Do you offer all-inclusive packages?

Yes, and we can guide you through each or help you build your own personal package.


Can I have my wedding photos taken at the venue?

We recommend it! You have access to many gorgeous photo opportunities throughout the venue. There is no extra cost as you can utilize the rental time for photos, if desired.


Can I schedule a walk through to view the venue?

We encourage it! It is our belief that viewing the venue is the best way to get a sense of what we have to offer. Walkthrough/Walkthroughs can be scheduled with our Director of Events at 216.438.2926.


Do I have to rent the whole venue?

Not at all. We rent out just the courtyard or just the speakeasy if need be. However, rental of the Ballroom includes access to all of the separate sceneries of the venue.


What are the parking options for my event?

We are in partnership with two adjacent parking lots that are available for rental. We also can provide valet service a La Carte or in our packages.


Does the venue provide security?

Security is included in the rental rates for most events. Security is required for any event over 100 people where alcohol is served.


Is on-site Internet available?

Yes, wireless Internet is provided to anyone booking The Ballroom.


What are the AV Capabilities at The Ballroom?

We have a full Audio Visual System with the capabilities to stream video on our large projector screen, play music and control sound through both the Speakeasy and Ballroom.


After I book the venue what can I expect in terms of coordination?

Our Director of Events will help you through the entire planning process from decorations, menu, and music to day of coordination, timelines and set-up/break down. There is no extra cost for these services.


Do you recommend any vendors?

We work with reputable vendors throughout Cleveland. These vendors can be contacted directly or through our packages and a La Carte options.


Is there a dance floor at the venue?

Depending on format, we can utilize the Speakeasy as a dance area, and dance floors are available in packages as well as at an additional cost.


Is there an airport local to the venue?

Yes, Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport is approximately 17 miles from the venue, which is an estimated 30-minute drive.


Can I have my rehearsal prior to the event day?

Yes. You can schedule this with the Director of Events.


Do you work with local hotels for accommodations?

Yes. We work closely with the Courtyard Marriott in University Circle and, because of this, we can set up room blocks for you at discounted rates.
