For in-person tours, we require advance notice and are limiting them to 4 guests or less, so please no walk-ins. We also ask that individuals coming in for an in-person tour comply with Governor DeWine and The City of Cleveland’s facial covering mandates and wear facial coverings upon entering the building and throughout the tour. Our staff will be wearing facial coverings and taking other precautions including extensively cleaning and sanitizing the facilities.
Per Governor DeWine's 'Responsible RestartOhio' guidelines, we will be allowing weddings and events to take place at The Ballroom at Park Lane beginning June 1, 2020. In order to ensure a minimum of 6 feet between tables, our max capacity at this time is 136, with 6 people at a single table.
We will follow the state's guidelines, including increasing the frequency of surface cleaning, hand washing, and sanitizing. All event staff will be required to wear facial coverings, except in one of the acceptable cases outlined in the state guidelines. Additionally, in order to protect our customers, event guests and staff, we will be implementing a sign-in sheet that requires any person entering the building to acknowledge whether or not they have symptoms associated with the virus.
Below is a list of specific COVID-19-related event guidelines that must be followed when hosting an event at The Ballroom at Park Lane:
All guests must wear a facial covering unless seated at their table and actively eating or drinking.
Open dancing is NOT permitted, but couples may still have their first dance while guests observe from their tables. ( The cake cutting “ceremony” is also permitted; however, guests must observe from their tables as well).
Bar service is NOT permitted, guests will order and be served drinks tableside.
No more than 10 guests are permitted at one table.
In order to ensure a minimum of 6 feet between tables, our max capacity at this time is 136, with 6 people at a single table. That said, guests must be seated as households. Thus, depending on the household sizes, the maximum guest count may change.
All guests must sign-in to a contact tracing sheet upon arrival at event. In addition, all guests must sanitize their hands upon arrival. (Sanitizer will be provided throughout the venue).
Whether taking an in-person tour or attending an event, we ask customers and guests not to enter the premises if symptomatic. We will be asking our staff and any third-party vendors not to enter the building if they have symptoms or think they have been exposed to the virus.
